Job DescriptionNorthwest Farm Credit Services is in search for a temporaryCustomer Care Specialistto join our Customer Care Team in our Spokane headquarters. Our customers are primarily located in Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Washington and Alaska. This temporaryposition is expected to last through the end of October 2021, reportsto the VP-Customer Care and is responsible for effectively fielding and resolving customer inquiries related to online banking activities and mobile banking products. This position will be a work-from-home position until mid-Summer 2021.
The Customer Care Team is an essential part of Northwest FCS' commitment to support our customers, and make it easy for them to do business with us. In this role, you will use your problem-solving skills to identify effective solutions that enhance our customers' relationships with Northwest FCS.
Primary duties include but are not limited to:
Provides phone and email support for customer support needs related to online banking, mobile remote check capture, account statement questions, and general inquiry calls.
Supports customer online banking portal by fielding login and technical questions, including password resets and account additions.
Processes online banking enrollments according to guidelines.
Effectively utilizes tools and systems for customer call tracking and transparency.
Works closely with online banking support team and other stakeholders to understand and identify customer needs and support through the online banking system.
Identifies potential enhancements to the online banking experience and communicates them to supervisor.
Performs all duties and maintains all standards in accordance with association policies, procedures and internal controls, and industry regulations.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent with appropriate technical training in commercial lending, banking, or related field
Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
Ability to learn and effectively work in a wide variety of systems
Preferred Qualifications
Two years' related work experience in commercial lending, banking, or related field
Knowledge of credit and legal terminology, association loan and interest rate programs, and financial services related procedures and forms
General knowledge of applicable credit laws, regulations, investigation and verification practices
