This is an H-2A job order for blueberries, grapes, fiber crop, watermelon, mint, apples, hops
This H-2A job opportunity is limited to qualified, available workers that are currently eligible to work in the United States, per federal regulation.
Use hand pruners to remove unwanted shoots/vines from plants.
Be able to identify and count bud/spur spaces and follow instructions to leave enough bud material to achieve production.
Blueberry Hand Cultivation:
Pull, cut, hoe weeds in blueberry rows, taking care not to damage plants and weed mat.
Spread and remove ground covers when needed.
Hop Hand Cultivation:
Hoe or hand weed around plants while training, while ensuring plants are not harmed.
Mint Hand Cultivation:
Pull, cut, hoe weeds in field rows, taking care not to damage plants.
Fiber Crop Hand Cultivation:
Watermelon Hand Cultivation:
Apple Hand Cultivation:
Pull, cut, hoe weeds in orchard blocks, taking care not to damage trees.
May be required to maneuver tree guards to remove plant material.
Bus/Van Driver Specifications:
Workers with a clean driving record (no major moving violations such as but not limited to Driving While Intoxicated or Reckless Driving) and able to obtain an insurable driver's license or CDL, as applicable, may be required to drive company vehicles.
1. Employee may drive bus/van over the road.
2. Employee will pick up workers from different housing sites/pick up points and take them to an assigned work site and at the end of the day take them back to the housing site/pick up point.
3. In order to drive a bus/van, employee must possess valid CDL/drivers license, as applicable, and must be able to pass physical exam. The employer will be responsible for the cost of the CDL/Drivers License and physical exam (if any), so long as the employee completes minimum working terms of contract. If not, the cost of the CDL/Drivers License will be deducted from the employees final
All employees in this position (H-2A as well as corresponding domestic workers), will be given the opportunity to obtain a CDL/drivers license (DL) on a voluntary basis. The CDL/DL are not a pre-hire job requirement. No job applicant will be denied an employment opportunity due to a lack of a CDL/DL at the time of application and/or hiring. Further, no worker (H-2A or corresponding domestic worker)
* Must have a minimum of (3) monthsprior experience experience working in vineyards, blueberries or hops, handling manual and mechanized tasks associated with commodity production.
* Ability to lift 60 lbs.
* 6.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, 6.5 hours on Saturday.
* Dates of the contract are February 2, 2020 through April 18, 2020
No work will be performed at less than the AEWR of $15.83 per hour

The payroll period shall beweekly.
The employer will furnish, without charge, all tools, supplies and personal protective equipment required in the performance of the specified work.
Employer provided housing/kitchen facilities are available for employees who are unable to reasonably return to their place of residence the same day.
Transportation costs to the job site for domestic workers from outside the local commuting distance of the job site will be reimbursed by the employer after 50% of the contract period. In order to comply with the FLSA, the employer will advance any amount owed prior to the first paycheck. Workers who do not complete 50% of the contract will have the advance deducted from their final paycheck.
Transportation costs from the job site to the workers home will be provided to those domestic workers that complete the entire contract period.
Employer guarantees to offer employment for the hourly equivalent of 3/4 or 75% of the workdays of the work contract beginning with the first day of work.
