POSITION SUMMARY:Temporary, Part-time position. Salary: $13.50 - $15.00 per hour (depending on experience) Hours: Evenings and weekends (November - March) This position is responsible for the set up and on site supervision of a variety of athletic programs held on or within the parks department or school district facilities.EXAMPLES OF JOB DUTIES: 1. Transport athletic equipment.2. Supervise individuals and groups participating in athletic activities for the Parks & Recreation basketball program.3. Use specialized equipment to prepare courts for play.4. Represent the City and the Parks Department; effectively communicates and interacts with program participants, parents, park neighbors, school district personnel, and the general public. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Previous experience supervising athletic activities is desirable.2. Previous experience working with youth is desirable. 3. Must be at least 16 years of age; parent/school authorization form required for employees under 18 years of age. 4. Must be able to successfully pass a background check required for employees working with minors. 5. Must have legal authorization to work in the United States. 6. Possession of, or have the ability to obtain within 30 days of hire, CPR and First Aid certifications. 7.
