Executive Director: Cowlitz County CASA
Cowlitz County CASA is a powerful voice, advocating for the best interest of abused and neglected children in the dependency court system in our community. For 25 years, Cowlitz County CASA has advocated for children in our county dependency court. Last year we provided a voice for over 400 local children in crisis. Our Board of Directors, staff, and volunteer team are passionate, enthusiastic, and deeply committed to our children and community.
The Executive Director is responsible for facilitating the overall mission and policies of Cowlitz County CASA through program development, oversight of office personnel, volunteer development, financial management, and partnerships with related agencies. In conjunction with the Board of Directors, the Executive Director creates and implements policies, goals, and objectives to achieve effective and solvent program operations to serve the children appointed to our agency. The Executive Director is the CASA/GAL Program’s official voice and presence in our community. Maintaining positive and appropriate relationships with other professionals and social service groups within the community through strong public speaking skills, personal investment, and diplomacy are essential components of this position.
$65,000-$70,000 annual salary DOE, personal health plan with optical and dental coverage,
12 days’ annual vacation, 11 paid holidays, and a simple IRA with 3% match after 1 year.
