Plant Electricians Requirements
The plant electrician must be able to both operate and maintain all equipment and systems related to the operation and processing of the coal slurry. This will include, but not limited to the coal processing plant, the static thickener, paste thickener, and dredge. The plant electrician must have or willing to obtain the below listed requirements

A Plant Operator needs to be able to climb stairs, ladders, stand or sit for extended periods of time, and work from elevated platforms. The job requires the ability to accurately read, interpret and record information displayed by the plant control and monitoring systems and visually view the plant components and equipment to start, operate and stop the plant as well as effectively operate all equipment associated in the plant operation.
The Plant Operator duties include the safe and efficient operation of wheel loaders, skid steer loaders and up to a 10,000lb class forklift or material handler. The operator must be able to safely operate all licensed motor vehicles.
The Plant Operator is required to operate an electric or diesel powered dredge and operate and navigate a 12ft motor-powered boat to travel from shore to the dredge location during both day and night operations. Operation of the dredge requires the simultaneous control of electrical motors, main and ancillary pumping systems, and multiple cable winches. The plant operator will view the operation system to ensure that no winches become entangled, no equipment is jeopardized, and that the dredge is operated in a safe manner. The operator works alone while on the dredge, both in the operations cab and out on the work deck while doing equipment checks and taking periodic instrumentation readings.
