Essential Job Functions:1.Answers written and/or telephone inquiries regarding services, classes, and participating physicians. Gives priority to responding to phone calls, completing other assigned duties as call volume permits (i.e. letters, rosters, posting payments). Seeks out additional duties when assigned work has been completed and as call volume permits.2.Accountable for following the guidelines for attendance, punctuality and overall dependability. Accountable for effective performance and follow-through of all assigned responsibilities and for completing responsibilities within designated (or agreed upon) timeframes. Completes responsibilities in a manner consistent with organizational policy, goals and values.3.Performs other duties as assigned.
License, Certification, Education or Experience:
REQUIRED for the position:High school graduate or equivalent1 year of recent experience in customer service, preferably in the healthcare industryAbility to problem solve and retain composure in stressful situations.Detail oriented and organized.Multitasks and processes work efficiently and with a high degree of accuracy
DESIRED for the position:Knowledge of hospital district and community resources
